Physical and Chemical Changes of Matter        

1) Matter: Anything that occupies space and has mass is called matter.

2) State of matter: Matter exists in three States i.e. Solid, liquid, and gas.

3) Solid: Sold has a defined shape and volume. Examples wood, glass, irons

4) Liquid: Liquid has a definite volume but it does not have defined shape.

5) Liquid flows easily. Examples water, milk, and oil etc.

6) Gas: Gas has neither definite shape nor a definite volume
